The primary goal of IoTEdge is to enable the centralization of data within a plural and multi-protocol environment.
This centralization allows for structuring and standardizing the data. In this form, data collection adheres to the following fundamental constraints:
- Data Security (storage on the local network)
- Openness to different brands and standard protocols of industrial equipment
- Redundancy of data (RAID storage, edge/cloud synchronization, ...)
- Automatic transfer of data to enterprise software (ERP, MES, WMS, ...)
